The Olympic Games have come to a close, and the Paralympic Games are still in full swing. This is an opportunity for us to take a look back at some of the previous events we’ve had the pleasure of organizing in Paris.
You probably couldn’t miss the temporary structures set up on the Champ de Mars to host the beach volleyball and cecifoot events.
But did you know that from 2005 to 2008, MCO Congrès organized the Beach Volleyball World Championship (Swatch FIVB World Tour – Henkel Grand Slam) on the same Champ de Mars? For the very first time on this emblematic site, we were able to install a 6,500-seat stadium, a village for players and partners, as well as a village for the public, ancillary courts for matches and initiation courts open to all.
3,500 tons of sand, 300 semi-trailers, 350 people working to provide the public with 18,000 m2 of facilities! And free admission for all!
